I work in oil or pastel, and I enjoy changing from one to the other, going where the medium takes me. All my work is a repsonse to my surroundings, so I often have pictures of Oxford streets, the allotments, the meadows, and the tow path, but also wires in San Francisco, and the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path. I particularly enjoy painting in winter, with the low light and the bare trees picking our patterns. I am a member of Oxford Art Society and West Oxford Arts, and have taken part in Artweeks for many years. I have also exhibited in The Pastel Society Open Exhibition at the Mall.
